Badminton– spin, slice &netshots

Badminton, pronounced bad – min – ton or sometimesbad – mitten, is one of China’s most popular and most prestigious sports.Annually, China’s athletes place high in international competition and thesport is wildly popular on the Mainland. It is unique in its skill set, with afocus on wrist strength, agility and footwork, and hand-eye coordination. 

This is also one of the fewnet-based sports that do not use a ball, instead utilizing the shuttlecock or,informally, birdie or shuttle. Combined with the rule that the shuttlecockcannot bounce, spin shots or slices common in other net sports are not asuseful. Slicing under the shuttle so it tumbles as it passes the net is aspinning netshot or tumbling netshot – very difficult to return.

羽毛球運(yùn)動－旋轉(zhuǎn)球，斜擊球&扣網(wǎng)前球

羽毛球（badminton）這個發(fā)音bad－min－ton或是有時發(fā)bad－mitten的單詞，是中國最流行的，最有聲望的一項運(yùn)動之一。在每年國際比賽中，中國運(yùn)動員都名列前茅，并且在中國大陸廣泛流行。打羽毛球需要獨特的技巧，專注于手腕的力量，靈敏性以及步伐的配合，還有手眼的協(xié)調(diào)配合。

這也是一項少數(shù)以網(wǎng)為基礎(chǔ)不使用傳統(tǒng)圓形球的運(yùn)動之一，取而代之是帶羽毛的球，我們稱為shuttlecock(羽毛球)，非正式的叫法是birdie或者shuttle。由于羽毛球沒有彈力的性質(zhì)，在其他有網(wǎng)運(yùn)動中的旋轉(zhuǎn)球或是斜擊球在羽毛球中就沒那樣有用了。斜擊羽毛球的下方，因此在它過網(wǎng)的時候翻騰，這種方式叫旋轉(zhuǎn)式扣網(wǎng)前球（spinning netshot）或者叫翻轉(zhuǎn)式的扣網(wǎng)前球（tumbling netshot）－這種球比較難回?fù)簟?
