旁白（Peppa Pig介紹）：

I’m Peppa pig.我是佩奇。

This is my little brother, George.這是我的弟弟喬治。

This is Mummy Pig. 這是我的媽媽。

And this is Daddy Pig. 這是我的爸爸。

Narrator: It is a bright sunny day. Peppa and her family are in the park. They are going to fly a kite! 今天是個陽光明媚的好日子，佩奇一家在公園里玩呢。他們要去放風(fēng)箏啦！

Narrator: George is going to fly the kite first. 喬治要第一個把風(fēng)箏放起來

George runs as fast as he can. 喬治已經(jīng)盡全力在跑了。

But the kite won’t fly. 但是風(fēng)箏就是飛不起來。

Peppa: George! You’re doing it all wrong! 喬治 這一次你完全做錯了！

You didn’t run fast enough. 看來你跑得還不夠快。

Now, it’s my turn. 現(xiàn)在該輪到我了。

Narrator: Peppa runs as fast as she can. But the kite still won’t fly. 佩奇也盡全力在跑，但是風(fēng)箏還是飛不起來。

Daddy Pig: The kite won’t fly if there isn’t any wind, no matter how fast you run. 如果沒有風(fēng)的話，不管你們跑多塊，風(fēng)箏都是飛不起來的。

Peppa: Oh. 哦

Mummy Pig: We’ll just have to wait, until the wind picks up a bit. 我們再等等吧，一會兒風(fēng)就會吹起來的。

Peppa: Oh. 哦

Peppa: Look, it’s getting windy. 瞧啊，現(xiàn)在開始起風(fēng)啦！

Narrator: Now that it is windy, the kite can fly! 現(xiàn)在起風(fēng)了，風(fēng)箏可以飛啦！

The wind is quite strong now. 風(fēng)已經(jīng)刮得很大了。

The wind is very strong now. 現(xiàn)在風(fēng)越來越大了！

Peppa: George! Wahhh! 喬治，哇

[佩奇和喬治被風(fēng)箏帶了起來，豬爸爸抱住了佩奇。]

Daddy Pig: Peppa! 佩奇

Peppa: Thank you, Daddy.

Narrator: Daddy Pig flies the kite. 豬爸爸開始放風(fēng)箏了。

Peppa: Hurray! Higher, higher. 好耶！再高點，再高點。

Narrator: Daddy Pig flies the kite very well. 豬爸爸放風(fēng)箏的技術(shù)非常好。

Peppa & George: Wow! 哇哦！

Daddy Pig: Yes, I am a bit of an expert at these things. 沒錯，這種事的話，我可以算專家了。

Mummy Pig: Watch out for the trees. You might get the kite stuck in one. 小心，那邊有些樹！小心別把風(fēng)箏卡在上面了。 【stuck [st?k]卡住】

Daddy Pig: Don’t worry; I know what I’m doing. 別擔(dān)心，我知道我在做什么。

Narrator: Oh dear. Daddy Pig has got the kite caught in a tree. 哦糟了，豬爸爸的風(fēng)箏卡在樹枝上了?！綾aught [k??t]截住 攔住 抓住】

Daddy Pig: Oh no. 哦糟糕。

Peppa: Oh. 哦

[喬治看到風(fēng)箏被卡在了樹上大哭起來]

Mummy Pig: Don’t worry, George. Daddy will get the kite down. 別擔(dān)心喬治，爸爸會把風(fēng)箏拿下來的。

Peppa: Hurray! 好耶！

Daddy Pig: Uh, yes. 呃，是的別擔(dān)心。

Daddy Pig: Careful. There’s a big muddy puddle! 小心點，那兒有一個大泥坑！

Narrator: Peppa and George love to jump in muddy puddles. 佩奇和喬治就喜歡在泥坑里玩。

Peppa: Can we jump in the puddle? Please. 我們能跳到泥坑里嗎？求你們了。

Mummy Pig: No. I don’t want you covered in mud. 不行，我可不想你們渾身都是泥。

Peppa: Oh. 哦

Daddy Pig: Stand back, children. 往后站孩子們。

Mummy Pig: Please be careful, Daddy Pig. 一定要小心點，豬爸爸。

Daddy Pig: I know what I’m doing. 我知道自己正在做什么。

Mummy Pig: Please be careful! 一定要當(dāng)心??！

Peppa: Just a bit further, Daddy! 你還要再往前一點，爸爸！

Mummy Pig: Daddy Pig, you are much too heavy for that branch. 不行豬爸爸，你太重了那根樹枝撐不住的?！綽ranch [br?nt?] 樹枝】

Daddy Pig: Nonsense! 你這是在胡說!

I know exactly how heavy I am. There! 我知道我自己究竟有多重，夠到了！

Peppa: Hurray! 好耶！

Narrator: Daddy Pig has rescued the kite! 豬爸爸夠到了樹枝上的風(fēng)箏！【rescue[?reskju?] 營救 搶救 救援 獲救】

Daddy Pig: Whoa! [豬爸爸不小心掉到了泥坑里濺了大家一身泥]

Narrator: Oh dear. Everyone is covered in mud. 哦糟了，大家身上都是泥。

Daddy Pig: It’s only mud. 大家都臟了。

Narrator: Luckily, Daddy Pig hasn’t hurt himself. 幸好豬爸爸沒有傷到自己。

Narrator: And the kite is out of the tree! 風(fēng)箏也被拿了下來！

Mummy Pig & Peppa: Hurray! 好耶！

Peppa: Mummy. Now that we’re all muddy, can we jump in the puddle? 媽媽，既然我們已經(jīng)很臟了，現(xiàn)在能跳泥坑了嗎？

Mummy Pig: I suppose so. 好吧隨你們高興。

After all, you can’t get any muddier. 再怎么玩也不會更臟了。

And I think Daddy Pig is going to be doing the washing. 不過我想你們的爸爸得去洗洗才行。

Daddy Pig: Oh. 哦

Narrator: Peppa and George love jumping up and down in muddy puddles! 佩奇和喬治喜歡在泥坑里跳來跳去。

Tips:

1. Fly a kite

陽光明媚的一天，Peppa一家去了公園，去干嘛呢？They are going to fly a kite! 他們要去放風(fēng)箏。Fly a kite放風(fēng)箏。

你曾經(jīng)跟爸爸媽媽去放過風(fēng)箏嗎？Have you ever flown a kite? 有沒有成功把風(fēng)箏放起來過呢？

2. Wind pick up

Peppa和George一直跑啊跑，但是風(fēng)箏怎么都放不起來。媽媽說We’ll just have to wait, until the wind picks up a bit. 我們再等一會兒，等起風(fēng)了再放。

起風(fēng)了就可以用pick up表達，Wind pick up是起風(fēng)的意思。例如：現(xiàn)在這么熱，如果起風(fēng)了，我們是不是會感覺涼爽一些呢？The wind picks up, so we feel cool off.

那么“霧散了”怎么說呢？“霧散了”其實言外之意就是“天空放晴了”，直接用clear 這個形容詞就可以表達啦~

clear adj. （天空，天氣）無云（或霧）的；晴朗的。例如：The winds might pick up. It could clear as suddenly as it came in.很快會起風(fēng)的,大霧會一下子被吹散

3. It’s getting windy

終于，等待沒有白費。樹葉被風(fēng)刮起來了。Peppa興奮的說Look, it’s getting windy! 瞧，起風(fēng)了！It’s getting windy.起風(fēng)了。

除了起風(fēng)了，還有什么表示天氣的說法呢？

It’s getting cloudy. 天陰下來了。

4. The wind is strong

風(fēng)太大了，The wind is quite strong now, 風(fēng)把風(fēng)箏刮上了天，還把試圖抓住風(fēng)箏的George一同刮上了天。The wind is quite strong，風(fēng)太大了。

5. Get the kite stuck

爸爸放著風(fēng)箏，突然風(fēng)箏東搖西擺，媽媽趕緊提醒爸爸You might get the kite stuck in one. 你可能會讓風(fēng)箏卡到樹上。Get the kite stuck in tree把風(fēng)箏卡到樹上。但是爸爸卻覺得媽媽的提醒是多余的，他可是個放風(fēng)箏的高手。

結(jié)果，風(fēng)箏果然卡在樹上了。Daddy pig has got the kite caught in a tree.

6. Get the kite down
